2026 Moms Rock Giveaway Hop ~ May 16th – 31st

Hosted by MamatheFox & Mom Does Reviews

Welcome to Angel’s Book Nook!

Moms truly are the heartbeat of the home, balancing a million things at once for everyone they love. While I never initially pictured myself as a mother, stepping into that role has been the most transformative and rewarding shift in my life. I absolutely adore my family, even on those long days when the hard work feels a little invisible!

Growing up, Dr. Seuss was a staple in our house, especially during our nightly bedtime routine. If you’re looking for some nostalgic classics to share with your little ones, here are two of our absolute favorites:

  • Hop on Pop: The perfect “simplest Seuss for youngest use” to get kids excited about reading.

  • Green Eggs and Ham: A timeless lesson in trying new things that never fails to get a laugh.

If you’re a fan of the single-mom trope in romance, you know there is something extra special about a heroine who is a fierce protector and a romantic at heart. Whether it’s a hilarious romantic comedy or a high-stakes fantasy, these stories bring all the heart, heat, and “found family” vibes.

Here are a few amazing novels featuring incredible single moms that you definitely need to add to your TBR:

  1. Love You Forever by Robert Munsch and Sheila McGraw was my favorite book to read to my boys and I don’t remember my mother reading to me.

  2. Almost any Dr. Seuss book was requested, but Green Eggs and Ham seemed to lead the requests.

  3. It’s been so long but it was a bunny losing a tooth, it was given to me by my grandmother, who said that the bunny eating the chocolate ice cream looked just like me. I lost my copy but one day when my daughter was small I found a copy and have it stashed in my memory box.

  4. My mom didn’t use to read to me but she bought me a lot of books. I remember I used to read fairytales.
